The BGS water pump for drills is a mechanical transfer pump that runs on the power transfer of a regular electric drill. It's equipped with 1/2" quick connectors (standard size), which make it quick and easy to attach hoses. This compact pump delivers up to 1000 liters per hour, making it great for garden use or moving water on job sites.
The pump is designed for simple use: you attach the drill to the shaft, and its rotating motion pumps the water efficiently. Bidirectional operation lets you move liquid in both directions – the direction depends on the drill's rotation.
Its durable build and portability make this a versatile tool, especially when you can't get an electric pump hooked up to the grid.

Uses:

Garden watering: Perfect for emptying water tanks or barrels, irrigation systems, and transfers without an electric pump. The quick connectors make swapping hoses a breeze.

Water transfer on job sites or in garages: Ideal for car washing, flushing heat exchangers, or small water transfer jobs. Easy to attach and use with a drill.

Managing water damage and draining: You can use it to empty basements, for example, when water's pooled on the floor or in shallow containers.

Attach the pump to the drill chuck using the 6 mm shaft.

Connect 1/2" water hoses to the inlet and outlet with the quick connectors.

Place the inlet hose in the water and the outlet end where you want it.

Start the drill – the rotation direction sets the flow direction.

Use low speeds for controlled flow.

After use, detach and dry the pump before storing.

How to choose the right drill pump:

Your needs: For low-pressure transfers, like in the garden, car washing, or draining.

Flow needs: This pump handles up to 1000 l/h flow rates.

Connection type: Make sure you have 1/2" quick connectors or adapters for your setup.

Drill: Ensure your drill is compatible with a 6 mm shaft.

Why choose the BGS Water Pump for Drills:
The BGS water pump combines efficiency, easy connectivity, and portability. It's perfect for situations where you don't have an electric pump but do have a drill handy. Thanks to the quick connectors, setup takes seconds.

Warnings:

Don't use for fuels, solvents, or chemicals

Don't run dry – it can damage the pump

Clean the pump after use

Don't exceed the drill's max RPM

Not for continuous professional use or high-pressure systems

Frequently asked questions, FAQ:
Does the pump work with liquids other than water?Only water or water-based solutions. Not for corrosive or flammable liquids.
Can you use it with a cordless drill?Yeah, but we recommend at least an 18V drill for good flow.
Can you change the direction?Yep. The drill's rotation sets the water flow direction.
Can you swap the hose connections for different sizes?Yes, but it comes standard with 1/2" quick connectors.
