Clear LCD display digital infrared thermometer. The device has a laser sight, making it easy to aim at the measurement target. You can do continuous measurement with it, where the device always shows the current reading. You can also lock the measurement result on the display by pressing the trigger.
Great for quick and easy temperature checks at home, in industry, or on construction sites.
User guide
Installation - Put batteries in the battery compartment under the handle. Replace batteries by opening the compartment and inserting new ones as shown in the diagram. We recommend using the same brand of alkaline batteries.
Startup - Press the trigger and wait for the device to show the measurement. It makes a beep.
C/F button - Switches the unit between C and F. Also used to change other settings.
Laser symbol - Turns the visual laser beam on and off. Doesn't affect measurement. Also used to adjust other settings.
Mode: Switches the device's mode in this order when pressed: MAX - MIN - EMS - CAL
MAX function - Highest temperature measured during the session
Min function - Lowest temperature measured during the session
EMS - The device's emissivity value, you can change it by pressing the C/F or laser button when mode is selected. Most organic materials have 0.95. That's the default. Some objects emit heat radiation at different values. You can adjust the device's value to match the object's for better accuracy.
CAL - Automatic calibration and manual adjustment of the measurement value
Measuring - Point the device at the target and pull the trigger. It shows the temperature. Accuracy depends on distance and size of the target. If the measurement area is larger than the object, the reading might be off. Get closer and measure again. Best results when the target is 2x the lens size.
For small objects, measure from close up. Make sure nothing like glass or plastic is in the way.
Don't use in dirty or dusty conditions, and don't expose to moisture or extreme temps. If moving between big temp differences, wait 30 min for the device to stabilize before use. Never point the laser at eyes or living things.
Calibration - If the measured temp doesn't match the device's reading, you can calibrate +/-5 degrees. If the object's temp is 27.2C and device shows 25C, put it in CAL mode and set calibration to 2.2C.
Maintenance - Blow clean with max 0.3MPa pressure, or gently brush or wipe with a cloth. Don't use solvents.
Storage - Keep in a closed box. Avoid direct sunlight. Remove batteries if not using for a long time. Store at -20 to 60C with under 90% humidity.
