Aluminum straightedges/line boards are great for measuring and leveling jobs where you need perfectly straight or even surfaces. They're especially handy for leveling floor joists, but you can also use them to check levels on frame assemblies and as long saw guides, like when cutting building panels.

Aluminum straightedges come in various sizes and with beveled edges. The length you want depends on what you're using them for. With long ones, you can measure height differences in multiple batten layouts, level them out, and smooth large batches of floor compound all at once.

All the line boards are made from durable and lightweight aluminum, with a built-in support frame inside that keeps them from warping. They also have removable end caps, so you can shorten them by sawing if needed.
