A glass cutter is mainly used for cutting large glass and window panes. Breaking glass is easy when you've got the right tools. To make the glass break straight right where you want, you gotta score it with the glass cutter. Press the cutter firmly against the glass, using something like a ruler to guide it, and make a score line. Then, break the glass along the score by pressing down on both sides of it.
