A mason's plumb bob is used for making vertical lines or determining the position of a suspension point relative to a lower level. This way, you can, for example, align ceiling joists or structures directly with the floor structure or make sure that vertical structures are straight.

The mason's plumb bob is hung from the ceiling or another similar overhead structure. Thanks to the heavy plumb weight, the plumb line creates a perfectly straight line towards the ground using the force of gravity.

The package contains the plumb line. The plumb line can be replaced with a new one.
