The Robota Klapix RB7-T wood chipper is a perfect household firewood plant. With this machine you can turn logs over 30cm in diameter into firewood in no time. The klapix consists of four parts: the feed head, the cutting section, the diameter and the discharge conveyor.

Feed head:

The feed head is equipped with a powerful conveyor that allows you to feed the tree trunk to the cutting section easily and quickly. You simply lift the tree trunk onto the conveyor on top of the feed head and then use the hydraulic motor to drive the tree trunk towards the cutting blade. The conveyor mat is made of strong urethane with a roughened surface. This ensures that the tree moves forward and backward.

Cutting part:

In the middle of the machine is the cutting section where the cutting blade, support clamp and blade lubrication system are located. The cutting section also has an adjustable limiter, which determines the length of the log to be cut. The cutting blade and flange are lubricated by a chain oil tank located on one side of the machine. The amount of chain oil can be adjusted. When the log has been moved against the limiter by the feed head conveyor, it is pressed firmly against the machine's frame by the support clamp. Finally, the log is cut using the cutting blade, after which the cut log falls onto the saw. The maximum thickness of the log is 35cm.

Diameter:

When a broken log falls round onto the diameter, the splitting function starts immediately. The 12TON powerful splitting cylinder pushes the log into the four-blade splitting blade, which splits it. The height of the splitting blade can be adjusted using a lever on the side of the machine. If for some reason the log falls crosswise onto the diameter, the function can be safely interrupted, after which the protective cover is opened and the log is placed on the blade by hand. After this, the cover is closed again and the splitting function is started manually. The splitting function will not start if the protective cover is open. In addition, a six-blade splitting blade is available as an accessory for the machine.

Output conveyor:

Finally, the split firewood is transferred to a conveyor that lifts the firewood high and drops it into a sack or pile, for example. The height and inclination of the conveyor can be adjusted using a hand winch. The conveyor mat is urethane-based and has separate wings that securely grip the firewood being moved. When the conveyor is not in use and the machine is put into storage, the conveyor can be turned twice, which significantly reduces the need for storage space.
