The Sthor desibelimittari offers a precise and reliable way to measure sound levels in the 30-130 dB(A) range. This compact and lightweight meter is designed for great portability and ease of use in various environments, like factories, offices, measuring train and traffic noise, and IT setups such as checking fan noise levels.

Big numbers on the display, a clear LCD screen, and intuitive functions make it super easy to follow the measurements. The meter's overlimit alarm, Max/Min function, and Data Hold feature add practicality by letting you track sound extremes and lock readings on the screen for review. Auto shut-off after 10 minutes of inactivity saves batteries (you can disable it when turning on the device). It comes with a 1/4'' mount for tripods, so you can set it up stably during measurements.

Safety Instructions
The product isn't waterproof, so keep it dry. Don't expose it to rain or dunk it in water or other liquids. When measuring outdoors, use a windscreen on the mic to cut down on false readings. If the sound's frequency is outside the spec range, the measurement might be off. Always change batteries in pairs and store the product in the right conditions for long-term storage.
Using the Product
Installing and Changing Batteries
Open the battery compartment cover, remove any old batteries, and insert new ones with the correct polarity. Use high-quality alkaline batteries for the best performance.
Turning On the Device
Switch it on, and it automatically measures the sound level, showing results on the display. Don't move the meter suddenly during measurement. The HOLD button locks the current sound level on the screen. The MIN/MAX button shows the lowest or highest reading. You can also set an alarm value, and when it's exceeded, the display backlight flashes.
Calibration
The product comes factory-calibrated, but we recommend calibrating it at least once a year. Calibration needs a reference sound source. Don't calibrate without one, as it could lead to inaccurate results.
Maintenance and Storage
The product doesn't need special maintenance. Clean the case and mic with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry it after. Store it in the specified conditions, protected from moisture, dust, and direct sunlight.
