This surface moisture meter is great for measuring moisture in wood and other building materials with 0.50% accuracy. It has a built-in temperature sensor, so you can also check the temperature of the piece. The device comes with eight different calibration scales to get the most accurate readings for various types of wood. The hold function lets you freeze the measured value on the display, making it easier to jot down notes. You can switch the unit between Celsius and Fahrenheit with just a button press.

The device's pins are protected with rubber caps and covered under a removable protective hood for storage. The backlit display with green light makes it easy to read even in the dark. The body is ergonomically shaped to fit your hand, with rubberized grips for better hold. It automatically turns itself off if not in use, preventing battery drain by accident.
