Basket tin is a great alternative for welding or soldering. Basket tins are also suitable for finishing weld seams. The molten tin can be easily spread and shaped using, for example, wooden spatulas.

It is a good idea to use solder paste as a primer for the tin. Tin primer significantly improves the adhesion of the tin to the materials.
