A plumb line is used to draw vertical lines or to determine the location of a suspension point in relation to a lower level. This allows, for example, to align ceiling joists or structures directly to floor structures or to ensure that vertical structures are straight.

The plumb bob is suspended from either the ceiling or other similar overhead structure. Thanks to the heavy weight of the plumb bob, the plumb bob creates a perfect straight line towards the ground using the effect of gravity.

The package includes a lead wire. The lead wire can be replaced with a new one.
