Cross laser Kapro 875G green 1V + 4P + LP soft case
The Kapro 875G is a green beam cross laser that combines a plumb line and multiple alignment points in one compact body. A single plumb line provides a clear reference for checking straightness and alignment, while four dots and plumb points make it easy to transfer a point between floor and ceiling and mark corners and intersections. The green beam is clearly visible indoors, speeding up installations and reducing errors.
The device has automatic self-leveling, which quickly locks into plane within a typical range of ±3°. When the job requires slope markings, a manual mode is available: in this case, the line/point can be set at the desired angle without self-leveling. The accuracy is ±0.3 mm/m, which is sufficient for both frame alignment and finishing stage installations.
Pulse mode allows use with the receiver in bright light and at longer distances. Visibility with the naked eye is typically up to 30 m indoors depending on conditions; with the receiver, the working range is significantly increased. A magnetic mount and 1/4?/5/8? tripod threads provide flexible placement options, and a soft carrying case protects the device and accessories during transport.
Ergonomics are designed for quick use: separate buttons for mode and beam selection, clear LED/flashing indications for self-leveling and manual slope, and quick connections for horizontal and vertical reference. Compact size, light weight and long operating time on AA batteries or rechargeable battery make the device a versatile tool for daily installation and measurement work.
Intended use:
Electrical and HVAC installations – Point and plumb functions speed up the alignment of point-like routes, lighting points, penetrations and sockets between the floor and ceiling. By using the plumb line, cable trays, ducts and risers can be aligned directly without separate rulers. This improves the rhythm of the work and reduces re-measurement as the point moves accurately from floor to ceiling.
Drywall and Interior Walls – The plumb line acts as a continuous straightness reference for aligning frames, doorways and corners. Four points make it easy to mark corners, door lines and intersections, making frame installation consistent across multiple rooms. Pulse mode and receiver help keep the line visible even in bright lighting conditions.
Tiling and finishing work – The vertical line helps keep joints straight and consistent, while the dots serve as precise references for starting rows, attaching fixtures and positioning corner profiles. Manual slope allows for light pours in bathroom work, for example, and the visibility of the green beam makes it easier to monitor the work.
Transfer of common reference points – Plumb points (up/down) enable quick and error-free transfer of a point between the floor and ceiling, for example as a basis for suspensions, lighting divisions and dimension lines. The magnetic mount speeds up work position changes for steel frames and scaffolding.

Kapro 875G user manual:
Getting Started – Place the device on a stable surface or tripod. Turn on the power; in automatic mode, the self-leveling locks into place within ±3°. Wait for leveling before marking. Select the beams (vertical line, dots, plumb points) according to the job and save battery power by using only the beams you need.
Plumb points and point offset – Align the floor and ceiling with plumb points and ensure a centerline for things like lighting, suspension, or vertical riser installation. Four additional points make it easy to mark corners, intersections, and offsets.
Manual slope – Activate with a long press. The flashing status indication indicates that self-leveling is not active. Adjust the desired slope (e.g. slopes) and make notes.
Pulse Mode and Receiver – Enable pulse mode outdoors or at long distances and use a compatible receiver for line/point detection in bright light.
Maintenance – Wipe optics with a soft, lint-free cloth. Protect from shock and moisture; dry after use. Recharge battery regularly or remove AA batteries for long-term storage. Store in soft case.
Warnings:
Do not look directly into the laser beam or its strong reflections; protect passersby.
Ensure a secure mount; dropping the device may cause injury and calibration error.
Do not use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture; the soft case is not waterproof.
Remove batteries/rechargeable battery for long-term storage and avoid extreme temperatures.
Follow general safety instructions and personal protective equipment on the construction site.
Frequently Asked Questions, FAQ:
What beams does the 875G produce? 1 vertical line and 4 alignment points and plumb points. The combination is suitable for both straightness checking and point transfer.
Can I use it outdoors? Yes, with pulse mode and a receiver. Without a receiver, visibility depends on lighting and background.
Is it possible to tilt the line/points? Yes, in manual mode you can set the desired tilt; self-leveling is then not active.
How to ensure accuracy? Perform a field calibration test regularly (e.g. double measurement 5–10 m). The deviation should remain within ±0.3 mm/m.
What is the difference between the green and red beam? Green is usually more visible in bright indoor environments, making it faster to read the marking.
Recycling instructions:
