Digital infrared thermometer with a clear LCD display. The device has a laser sight, which makes it easy to aim the device at the measurement target. The device can be used for continuous measurement, so the device always displays the current measurement result. The measurement result can also be locked on the display by pressing the device's trigger.
Suitable for general, quick and easy temperature measurement at home, in industry and on construction sites.
User manual
Installation - Insert the batteries into the battery compartment located under the handle of the device. To replace the batteries, open the compartment and insert the new batteries as shown in the diagram on the device. We recommend using alkaline batteries of the same brand.
Start - Press the trigger of the device and wait for the device to indicate the measurement result. The device will emit a beep.
C/F button - Switches the unit displayed by the device between C and F. Also used to change the values of other settings.
Laser symbol - Turns the visual laser beam on and off. Does not affect measurement. Also used to change other settings.
Mode: Changes the device operating mode when pressed in the following order: MAX - MIN - EMS - CAL
MAX function - Maximum measured temperature during the measurement period
Min function - Minimum measured temperature during the measurement period
EMS - The device's radiation measurement value, you can change this value by pressing the C/F button or the laser beam button when the mode value is selected. The radiation value of most organics is 0.95. This is the default value of the device. Some objects emit thermal radiation at a different value. You can change the device's measurement value to match the radiation value of the object to improve measurement accuracy.
CAL - automatic calibration and manual change of the device's measurement value
Measuring - Point the device at the object to be measured and press the trigger. The device indicates the measured temperature. The accuracy of the device depends on the distance and size of the object to be measured. If the measuring range is larger than the object, the measurement result of the device may be distorted. Move closer to the object and measure again. The best measurement result is obtained when the object to be measured is 2 x larger than the lens.
Measurements of small objects should be made at close range. Make sure there are no interfering materials such as glass or plastic in between.
Do not use the device in dirty or dusty conditions and do not expose the device to moisture or high temperatures. If you move the device between large temperature differences, wait 30 minutes for the device to equilibrate before using. Never point the laser beam at eyes or living objects.
Calibration - If the temperature of the measured object and the temperature indicated by the device do not match, you can calibrate the device within +-5 degrees. If the temperature of the object is 27.2C and the device indicates 25C, put the device in CAL mode and set the calibration value to 2.2C.
Maintenance - You can blow the device clean with a pressure of max. 0.3MPa or by lightly brushing or cleaning it with a cloth. Do not use solvents.
Storage - Store in a closed box. Do not store in direct sunlight. Remove batteries if not in use for long periods. Store at -20 to 60C and below 90% relative humidity.
