Vorel Angle Measure 270 mm Wooden is a traditional adjustable angle/bevel tool for measuring, transferring and marking angles. The long steel blade allows you to place the angle directly against the edge of the workpiece and copy the angle to another piece without measuring marks.
The wooden frame fits comfortably in the hand and provides a sturdy surface for marking. The locking is done with a screw at the end of the frame, which allows the steel blade to be fixed at the desired angle – for example after copying an angle or when you want to repeat the same angle in a series of works.
Typical applications include furniture and joinery work, flooring and moulding, panelling, framing and installations where bevelled and non-90° angles need to be accurately transferred for sawing or drilling. The angle gauge also works in conjunction with the angle gauge/profile template and saw table for repeat work.

Intended use:

Copying and transferring angles in woodworking: Measure the angle directly on the object (e.g. the deviation between the wall and the floor) and transfer it to the saw bench or workpiece. The locking screw ensures that the angle does not change during transfer, reducing fitting errors and rework.

Trimming and finishing: Place the angle gauge on an inside or outside corner and copy the exact angle onto a miter saw or molding. This is especially useful in older buildings where the angles are different from 90°.

Board and panel installation: Define bevels and corner cuts for partitions, paneling and laminate. The 270 mm length provides support for long runs and helps mark the corner across the entire width.

Carpentry joints: As an aid in bevel joints, dovetail joints and frame diagonals where angle repeatability is important.

Features:

Length: 270 mm – Enough reach for moving corners and marking on large surfaces.

Structure: Wooden handle + steel blade – Rigid blade for setting the angle, wooden frame against the support.

Locking: Screw located at the end – Secure locking of the angle for transfer and repeat work.

Scale: Stepless transfer – The angle is copied directly from the object without measurements

Applications: Wood, panel and molding work, installation and finishing – Measuring, copying, marking angles.

Maintenance: Cleaning and light oiling – Prevents corrosion in the petal and maintains smoothness.

Vorel Protractor 270 mm wooden – instruction manual:

Angle setting: Open the locking screw, place the steel sheet at the angle of the object and tighten the screw.

Transfer and marking: Place the frame on the edge of the workpiece and draw along the corner leaf with a pencil/iron pen.

Repeat work: Maintain the lock and use the same angle for multiple pieces.

Maintenance: Clean dust, wipe dry; apply a drop of light oil to the locking screw and leaf shaft.

Warnings:

Do not overtighten the locking screw to avoid damaging the threads.

Avoid twisting the petal sideways; keep the leaf straight against the work surface.

Store dry; wipe off moisture after use to prevent rust.

Keep out of reach of children.

Frequently Asked Questions, FAQ:
How is a protractor different from a right angle? A right angle is fixed at 90°. A protractor is adjustable, so it can be used to copy any angle.
Can I measure the angle degree on the protractor? Yes, transfer the set angle to the protractor/angle meter if you need a numerical value.
Can the tool be used on metal? Yes, as long as the surface is not scratched; the actual cutting is done with separate tools.

Recycling instructions:

Packaging: Cardboard/paper - collection; plastic bag/film - plastic collection.

Product at end of life: Blade parts - metal collection; wooden parts - energy waste/wood recycling according to local guidelines.
