A mechanical foot-operated log splitter for splitting firewood. This device does not require any electricity, so it is well suited for cottages without electricity or places where getting electricity is challenging. The device is operated by pressing it with your foot, whereby the counter piece of the device's rail presses the wood to be split against the splitting wedge by one pressure notch. When the foot is lifted up, the counter piece automatically tightens to the next notch. This movement is repeated until the wood is split all the way through. Larger and knottier trees may require several presses, while smaller and knotless trees break with one press.

This lever technology can achieve a clamping force of 12kN (1.2T), which allows medium-sized and low-branched logs to be cut quickly and effortlessly. Even knotty trees can be easily split by repeating the splitting movement several times. Thanks to the 430 mm long body, the device can also cut very long logs. Body diameter 60 - 180 mm for trees of different sizes. Thanks to the adjustable counter piece position, the clamping gap is set quickly and you don't have to wait as long for the piece to move along the entire length of the rail compared to electric devices. The clamping gap of the device can also be adjusted smaller or larger depending on the pieces to be split, so you don't have to lift your foot so high.

This device is particularly suitable for easy and effortless splitting of firewood in places without electricity, without noise or dust. Place the support of the counterpiece in the desired position so that the logs to be split fit between it and the wedge. Then press the pedal of the device, which will press the log against the splitting wedge and split it. Repeat the process as many times as necessary.
